"This is my parents' property. It was my father's dream to build it. He was a very creative person," says daughter and listing agent Sandra Domenico, of Keller Williams Realty.
Construction took two years and the building was completed in 2008.
"My mother was very good at making his dreams come true," Domenico continues." He was a general contractor and hired some people to help him."
The result is a 3,750-square-foot, three-bedroom and four-bathroom dome.
"It's amazing. It has very nice hardwoods inside and it has beautiful features like windows and fireplaces," Domenico says.
"The views are amazing. You're looking at the mountains, you're looking at the pond, everything around you is really beautiful."
Three square sections speak down from the geodesic dome, housing the kitchen, entry and fireplace areas. The basement adds another 2,500 square feet.
"When you first walk in, it's open. It's like you're walking into a planetarium with that big, round, open ceiling feel," Domenico says.
Next to it is the log cabin where the owners lived while the dome was being built. This 1,448 square foot residence has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
It is a popular holiday home and rents for around US$175 per night.
It was just done as something [my mum] wanted to do to give people a taste of the property," explains Dominic.
A greenhouse and barn are also part of the deal.
All the buildings are located on 102 acres of land, which Dominique says is perfect for horses, hunting or exploring.
But if you want to turn the whole place into an event space, this is also an option.
"There's been talk about doing events because it's a two-storey barn and renting both the dome and the lodge for weddings and different things like that," she says." I think there's a ton of opportunity there. It has a lot of potential."
Both the barn and the dome have a water well and 35 solar panels to power the property.
Sadly, Dominique's father died just six months after completing his dream dome. Her mother has lived there ever since.
"It's a beautiful place," she says." My parents did a great job on it."
